How To Crack Google Search Algorithm

  • Sharebar

Everyone knows that Google does not reveal its search algorithm but do you know why? It’s because they believe that smart guys like you will misuse, abuse and destroy the very basis on which their Search is based. In the early days – like in 1995 – there were hundreds of search engines. SEO meant keyword stuffing and the porn guys had a fun time. It did not matter which keyword you typed in – you always landed up on a porn site. It was madness multiplied. And then Google came along and changed the game and sanity returned to search. Now you know why Google is cagey about its search algorithm. But this post is about cracking the search algorithm.

Provide good relevant content

Let’s look at how Google monetizes itself. People come to Google search to find something – when they find relevant, note relevant, content they are happy – Meanwhile Google displays relevant paid ads through their AdSense program – people click on these ads because they are relevant – Google makes money when people click on these relevant ads. You must have noticed something here – I have used relevant five times. This is the point I want to convey. If you have content which is not relevant, nothing will happen and Google won’t make any money. That’s why Google algorithm puts heavy emphasis on relevance of content. This conclusion is a no-brainer.

Providing great content is not the issue. I will even go to the extent to say that quality is secondary. It is relevance, be it the title, description, actual content, links – inbound and outbound, everything must be tied together. If your title says ‘Hello’, the word ‘Hello’ must be present consistently and evenly spread over the entire page. This is the kind of relevance Google is looking for. Scratch a bit on the Google algorithm and you will find that it looks for relevance first, second and all the time.

The next logical conclusion is that keywords are the key to successful SEO. You must research well and do your homework as far as keywords go. You must be creative and loop keywords into your niche, not the other way around. This may look like black hat but it is not. It is commonsense, I am talking about. Where to place the keywords, how to make them more accessible to Google search bot etc. are techniques you must obviously learn.

The links

The second part of Google algorithm is links. You must have relevant links – both inbound and outbound. If you are into health and fitness, you must get as many links as possible from this niche. The page rank and popularity of sites from which you link is, of course, equally important. Google search algorithm gives weight to the type of link you are linked to. If you link to dubious article directories, you can even be penalized. It is better to avoid such links even if you are promised a hundred such links for free.

Conclusion

Google search algorithm is the primary means for Google to make money. For this they need content which is relevant. Make sure that Google earns money and you would have cracked the search algorithm for sure.
